Located at 911 E. Centennial in Pittsburg, KS, Same Day Access will be a new method of accessibilty for services, where we offer mental health intake assessments on the same day – without a scheduling delay or waitlist. This will result in quicker access to services for all clients. Same Day Access clincic open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at our 911 E Centennial location. Same Day Access is open to adults, children (when accompianed by a guardian), and SUD clients.

Assertive Community Treatment (ACT)

ACT consists of concentrated, weekly wrap-around intervention services in a team approach to identify and provide appropriate services to reduce client interaction with law enforcement and unnecessary ER visits for the severe and persistently mentally ill. ACT care is personalized, time un-limited, continuous, flexible, and comprehensive. ACT’s goal is to give clients adequate community care and to help them live a life that is not dominated by their mental illness.
Individual Placement and Support (IPS)
This model of supported employment helps individuals with mental illness achieve competitive and integrated employment of their choosing regardless of their background characteristics.
Service Members, Veterans, and Family Member Program (SMVF)
This program focuses on meeting the mental health needs of the SMVF population in our community. It consists of working with the VA, Veterans, and military community to reduce barriers, navigate the VA and military benefit system, and connect individuals to mental health care.
Same Day Access (SDA)
Same Day Access will be a new method of accessibility for services whereby Crawford County Mental Health offers intake assessments on the same day, without a scheduling delay or waitlist. This results in quicker access to services for the consumer and the elimination of consumer no shows for assessments. Walk-ins welcome!
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
MAT is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and other therapeutic techniques, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. MAT limited services are available now – Full MAT opioid treatment coming May 2023. Crawford County Mental Health Center is the only regional full-service provider offering MAT for opioid use disorder, outpatient counseling, intermediate residential treatment, reintegration, intensive outpatient program, and group therapy.
Addiction Treatment Center and Crisis Stabilization Unit
24 Residential Intermediate A&D Beds, 4 Social Detox Beds, and 7 Crisis Stabilization Unit Beds. Under construction! Opening January 2024 at 3101 N Michigan.
