Crawford County Mental Health Awareness Day

September 16, 2017

8 a.m. to Noon at
Pittsburg State University’s
Robert W. Plaster Center

WHO  Mental Health Advocates, Healthcare Advocates, Runners, Walkers, Fitness Enthusiasts, Artists, and Philanthropists from Crawford County and the surrounding area will join together to raise awareness of mental health illnesses.

WHAT The day will include a 5K, Zumba-thon, art contest, silent auction, kid’s fun zone, concessions, and local dance performances.  There will be prizes awarded, raffle tickets, door prizes, informational booths, and refreshments served.

WHEN  Saturday, September 16, 2017 8:00 am – 12:00 noon

WHERE Plaster Center, Pittsburg State University, Pittsburg, Kansas

WHY This is an event to raise funds and awareness for the treatment, education, and prevention of mental health illness through FACT, Inc. a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) in Kansas since August 21, 1991.  FACT, Inc. exists to provide philanthropic support for mental health and substance use disorder treatment programs.
